This is a really charming, semi-detached cottage-style chalet located in a small hamlet near Le Praz, La Tania and Courchevel. It has direct access to the 3 Valleys ski domain and is just 2 km from the slopes.

The property was originally built in the 1700’s and was renovated by the current owner’s father who bought the property 50 years ago and, being a skilled carpenter, renovated it himself.
It has approx. 95 m² of living space on three floors and comprises:

Entry to the main residence is via the upper ground floor where there is an entrance hall, 2 double bedrooms that share a balcony overlooking the garden with beautiful views, a bathroom and a separate WC.
Upstairs under the eaves there is a small galley-style kitchen and a delightful dining/lounge area with many artisanal touches including internal sliding shutters for some of the windows and a cosy ‘snug’ at the rear of the lounge.
The property also has a cellar and a pretty, sheltered garden with great views of the mountainside.
Cars are left in the car park at the entrance to the hamlet except for unloading and dropping off.
During the winter months, there is a navette service to and from the hamlet to the slopes.

Courchevel is the largest ski resort in the 3 Valleys, which is itself, the largest linked ski area in the world. Courchevel is made up of four resorts all named after their altitude in metres. The highest of these is Courchevel 1850, which is a purpose-built resort nearly as famous for the celebrity skiers it attracts as it is for the fabulous skiing. Courchevel 1650 is the next one down and is located slightly west of 1850. Directly below is Courchevel 1550, which is slightly more popular with families than the other two. Finally there is Courchevel 1300 or Le Praz — the original Courchevel village and the most traditional. All the resorts offer fantastic skiing at all levels of ability from beginners to expert. Many of the pistes are tree-lined and make for a picturesque resort. Après Ski varies slightly with each resort. A traditional Savoyard and family orientated atmosphere can be found at Le Praz, with the most expensive and exclusive establishments found at the 1850 resort. Courchevel 1650 is becoming more popular with the younger and hip crowd while 1550 strikes a balance between the two. However, all tastes and budgets are more than adequately catered for, and all are easily accessible within the area.
Other interesting towns nearby are Bozel, Brides-les-Bains and the Méribel ski resort.

The nearest international airports are at Geneva, Lyon, Chambéry and Grenoble and the TGV stops at Moûtiers, which is less than 20km from Le Praz.
